I love the "Conversation for More Business" approach. These are all of our standard replies!

Is the Question on Page 2 - Have you tried effectively communicating what you really do ? With effectively and really in bold?

Are their plans in the other 2/3 for more discussion on follow-up? Managing who you meet and how to bridge that into a referral.

Dave, thanks so much, this is VERY helpful.

And right in line with what Ellie has been giving me.
She, too, brought up the filing cabinets.
Oh, wait, you're talking about page 8 of this post . . . yes, I did cover filing cabinets at the beginning.

Look for that download here: http://blog.powercore.net/index.php/2009/09/im-writing-im-writing-im-writing/

Thanks again - back to Word.
Gratefully, W!

I like the conversational approach - it's very natural both for the way you present information and also for me as a reader... although it took a couple pages for me to realize that that was the format of the whole project as opposed to a conversation within the book (or at least that's what I got out of it).

If I were to read this like someone who wasn't in PowerCore, then the file drawer reference on page 8 would confuse me. I'm assuming that this is in the book after the concept of the filing cabinets has been discussed (although that's dangerous to do!)

The factual analysis with the pie chart is a real credibility-builder.

I left the read thinking "well DUH.... but wait a minute... BUT.... (cont. in a moment)"

Your examples of practical application are a big help - it's one thing to comprehend... it's another thing to understand. BECAUSE....

"(cont. from before) I *didn't* really know that because if I did know it, I would be *applying* it..."

Hope this helps...
